Aaron Schimberg writes and directs this drama in which a beautiful and talented actress, Mabel (Jess Weixler), is given a new, inexperienced co-star, Rosenthal (Adam Pearson), to work alongside who happens to have a severe facial disfigurement. Having been cast in a film with a demanding director, Mabel helps Rosenthal to navigate the world of acting and attempts to find common ground.
