The once proud United States has fallen. The infrastructure is not working, and the military is disorganized after an EMP attack that knocked out all communication opportunities. Powerless, the United States sees itself occupied by the expanding nuclear-armed United Korean Republic.
The United States is abandoned by its former allies, and the formerly prosperous society is now a sad sight. People have fled from the suburban idyll, and cities have got ring walls. Society has become a police state, and where American football was once played, people are now in custody. Shopping malls hide armored attack vehicles, and a formerly free people are now trapped, are collaborators or resistance fighters.
