This 150 liter solar collector is specially designed for those of you who have a holiday home in the forest, in the countryside or perhaps out in the archipelago. Maybe you don't have electric current or you don't have enough capacity in your solar panel installation to run a heating cartridge and circulation pump. Therefore, this solution has a great advantage as it does not require any electricity but still works if there is access to sun and water. Imagine having access to hot water in the shower and or when doing the dishes, surely that's good? The solar collector tubes in the collector are very sensitive and actually work even when it is cloudy. This solar collector only works during the frost-free part of the year and must be drained during the frosty months of the year or when there is a risk of frost.

Another area of use
This solar collector also works great if you want to give your pool some extra heat. The summers in Sweden do not always show their best side. (bathtubs also want to take a refreshing bath, but not if the water is freezing cold!) Here you can count with a simple rule of thumb: calculate one hundred and fifty liter solar collector tank per 15 cubic meters of water, so for example two connected 150 liter solar collectors like this one are enough to heat a swimming pool 30 cubic meters of water.

The plant works like this
The solar collector's vacuum tube has a thin metal coating that catches the sun's rays. Thanks to the fact that hot and cold water have different densities, you get an automatic circulation, where the hot water is moved upwards and the cold water is moved downwards. This automatic circulation thus heats up the water in the tank. On top of the large tank sits a small tank of 5 L which helps to keep the water level in the large water tank constant, which in turn means that you get an even temperature.

Technical preferences
The temperature in the tank can rise 8 degrees/hour up to 95 degrees and retains the heat for about 72 hours.
