In 'The Clock', Mr Grainger (Arthur Brough) celebrates his 37 years at Grace Brothers. In 'Cold Comfort', a fuel shortage leads the staff to find alternative ways of keeping warm. In 'The Think Tank', sales are low and the company decides to put on a fashion show, but with no cash to hire proper models, the staff are forced onto the catwalk themselves. In 'Big Brother', a shoplifter has struck, and a store detective installs video surveillance.
