Rein (voice of Shoya Chiba) is a Beast Tamer who is expelled from the hero Arios (Nobunaga Shimazaki)'s party because he is thought to be weak. When Rein rescues Kanade (Azumi Waki), a member of the Cat Tribe, the two begin travelling together and through her, Rein obtains new abilities. As his group grows in size, so too does his power and Arios becomes jealous and frustrated. Neglecting his duties as a hero, Arios seeks revenge against Rein instead...
