Michael Powell directs this adaptation of the opera by Béla Bartók which features Norman Foster as Bluebeard and Ana Raquel Satre as Judith, his doomed fourth wife. When Bluebeard brings his new wife home to his castle, he is reluctant to show her around. Concerned, she asks him to open one door after another until all of his dangerous secrets are revealed to her.
