In this episode Marshal Crown has to contend with two gunmen who are hired by a rich rancher to shoot the Gauge brothers. Felix and Gene Gauge have a large price on their heads as they are wanted killers, so when they hand themselves in to Crown and claim their crimes were committed in self-defence, they become targets and when one of them is shot dead, Crown has even more to deal with.
