The 10-track album for 2020 with eight re-recorded favorite songs from the band's catalogue and two new tracks*, one of those called "Passive Restraints" with guest vocals by Randy Blythe from Lamb Of God!* The hard-rockin' Clutch started releasing newly recorded versions of their own songs digitally via Weathermaker Music.

The Weathermaker Vault Series Vol. 1 is the first physical release, featuring ten tracks - two of which are previously unreleased. There's a version of 'Passive Restraints' with guest vocals from Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, a version of 'Algo Ha Cambiado' by Argentinian punk legend Nolberto Napolitano and the band's hard-rocking version of 'Fortunate Son', which was originally recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
