Nick Saxon is an Aquarium program astronaut who is called upon to assist in the recovery of a failed, top-secret Aquarius. Saxon and his partner, Tony Burgess, must lead the search for six Aquarius astronauts, including Saxon's best friend, Joe Shay and Saxon's ex-wife Deborah Saxon; but the astronauts do not want to be found. As Nick delves into the high-level conspiracy and secrecy surrounding the failed mission, he discovers that the astronauts are infested by alien life forms known as Darkbreed who intend to take control of the human race once they have matured...
