Since ancient times, the Council has maintained the balance of reality. The Horsemen are his armed arms: they are Nephilim (powerful creatures born from the unnatural union between angels and demons) who have sworn allegiance to the Council and have been endowed with immeasurable powers. However, their story is tragic: The Horsemen were ordered to use this power to eradicate their own species. A bloody battle ensued on Eden during which the Horsemen, obeying the will of the Council, slaughtered the Nephilim. Still reeling from the events of Eden, War and Strife are given a new mission: Lucifer, mysterious demon king, prepares to upset the balance by conferring powers on the master-demons of Hell. War and Strife must hunt down these demons, to gather information and unravel the web of a demonic conspiracy that threatens to irreparably disrupt the balance and very fabric of creation.
