J. Lee Thompson directs this British horror starring David Niven, Donald Pleasance and Sharon Tate. Philippe (Niven), a marquess, is summoned to his ancestral home under mysterious circumstances. His wife Catherine (Deborah Kerr) believes there is something strange going on at the chateau and her fears are confirmed when she learns that her husband has inherited a fate far worse than she ever could have imagined...
