James McArdle stars in this Irish comedy drama co-witten and directed by Darren Thornton. Edward (McArdle) is an author about to embark on an important publicity tour in America which is causing him intense anxiety. He also cares for his mother Alma (Fionnula Flanagan) who suffered a stroke and now cannot speak. When his three friends decide to leave their mothers with him without warning so that they can celebrate Pride abroad, Edward attempts to look after all of them while also coping with his own problems. The cast also includes Stella McCusker, Paddy Glynn and Dearbhla Molloy.
