Both feature length versions of the anime TV series that mixes history and science fiction. 'Full Metal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa' (2005) finds Edward Elric (voice of Romi Pak) living in the post-WW1 Munich of 1923. Having been transported from his own world of Amestris to Earth, Edward begins researching the technology of the day in an attempt to find a way home, all the while trying to avoid the clutches of the Nazis as they rise to power. 'Full Metal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos' (2011) finds Edward and his brother, Alphonse (Rie Kugimiya), on the trail of Melvin Voyager (Toshiyuki Morikawa), who has escaped from a prison in Amestris. Will they be able to capture Melvin and get to the bottom of the mystery he represents?
