First appearing in Green Lantern (vol. 2) #29 in 1964, Black Hand has gone on to become one of Greens Lanterns most formiddable enemies.

The black sheep of his family, William Hand took up a life of crime in order to distance himself from them, eventually calling himself Black Hand.
