A young child experiencing the effects of a broken family and the heartbreak it brings escapes into a dark, whimsical dream world created by his memories. In this twisted nightmare, terrifying monsters that reflect his past trauma try to trap him in their world, prompting him to embark on a journey to find out whats really hiding in his mind.

When the monsters chase him, the main character is forced to use his dreaming to make his way through a surreal labyrinth created by his subconscious. This friendly otherworldly figure helps guide the player away from danger and offers tips on how to solve intricate problems that block the path. Together, the duo can take full advantage of the environment to evade their pursuers, hide under and inside objects, and sneak past all the specters that roam the dream world. Can you confront your fear and wake up from your half-awake slumber, or will you forever be trapped in the nightmare?
