This door is intended as a decoration, although with minor adjustments it could be used in daily use. However, the lower height (182 cm) is a problem for us well-built Swedes, but maybe it could work as an entrance to a wine cellar? We mostly believe in decoration, for example in a conservatory. Doors evoke emotions and when you visit a home, the first thing you encounter is the Door. Therefore, doors have largely become the identity of our home. We cannot imagine a home without a door. There are different styles of doors you can come across, modern, traditional, contemporary and so on.

But nothing beats the traditional Indian doors where every door is a work of art. Just look at this beauty but also in general: the traditional Indian door is still the favorite among all.

Preferences

Documentation is missing but this door may be very old. What we do know is that it is made from the wood species Dalbergia latifolia or as it is called in English: Indian rosewood. Here in Sweden we call it Indian rosewood and internationally the wood type is called Shisham
