Erika Lagerbielke created a classic already the year after her graduation from Konstfack in 1984. Intermezzo then broke against the uncolored aesthetics that had been established in Sweden already in the 1950s. Here came someone who wanted to make the glass visible and fun, and let it take over the table setting. And enclosed in the glass mass, as if rising from the table surface: The blue drop-shaped riddle. To celebrate the 40 years that Erika has GILD Orrefors, a thick gold version of Intermezzo has been produced.
