This bit is useful for backing horses and training the younger horse. The single jointed mouthpiece has a simple nut cracker action on the tongue and bars of the horses mouth. The Full Cheek Snaffle helps with head direction and turning as pressure is applied to the side of the mouth which then encourages the horse to move in that particular direction.
