A simple bit that acts in a similar manner to a Snaffle bit. Bradoons are generally used in conjunction with a Weymouth bit. A bradoon can be used on its own, specifically for ponies as the rings are smaller than those of a normal sized snaffle rings. The loose rings create a rather free moving bit, encouraging movement that will help your horse to relax their jaw and accept the bit a little easier. Single joint creates a nutcracker action.
