A sequel to the film based on Stephen King's novel. Jeff Matthew's (Edward Furlong) mother is killed in a freak accident and he and his father (Anthony Edwards) move away to Maine. Life is difficult for Jeff as he is lonely and has only one friend, Drew. Things go from bad to worse when Drew's step-father kills the family dog, and the boys bury the pet at the local cemetary.
