The PlayStation 5 Pro (PS5 Pro) represents a significant evolution compared to the standard PS5, designed to offer advanced performance and even more spectacular graphics. It is equipped with a GPU based on RDNA architecture of AMD, able to reach 16.7 teraflop of computational power, a net improvement compared to 10.23 teraflop of the base model. This allows for superior graphics, with support for Ray Tracing Advanced, variable refresh rates (VRR) and frame rate up to 120 fps in 4K, in addition to the possibility of 8K video output for compatible titles.

Among the main innovations is the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), an artificial intelligence-based upscaling technology that improves visual quality without compromising performance, similar to NVIDIA's FSR or DLSS systems. This system allows you to play in higher resolutions with impeccable fluidity.

The device also offers a 2 TB SSD for greater storage space and lightning charging speed, as well as Wi-Fi 7 support for faster and more stable connections. It is fully compatible with accessories such as PlayStation VR2, DualSense controllers and PlayStation Portal.

The PS5 Pro is designed to be backward compatible with previous generations' titles, with performance improvements for PS4 games and specific optimizations for those marked as PS5 Pro Enhanced.
