When the ideal location presents itself, Tommy finds that the initial outlay would be too expensive and so uses the only means of persuasion he knows how to charm the owner, Leslie (Edie Adams), to offer it for a steal. After he enters an affair with Leslie to keep her sweet, matters are complicated by the arrival of an old flame, Monica (Lynda Day George).
