Nervous about her upcoming performance in The Red Shoes ballet, Sam face-times her sister for moral support and witnesses her killed by a car. Guilt-ridden, she quits the Academy. After getting caught stealing, she must do community service by cleaning the school she abandoned. When the new lead of The Red Shoes ballet gets injured, she must confront her grief to reignite her love of dance.
