When the pair inevitably find a way to blow the money without shooting any usable material, they abscond from Los Angeles in fear that the shadowy corporation who gave them the money for the film will track them down and exact revenge. The pair hatch a plan to revitalise a failing shopping mall as a way of earning back the money, but face numerous problems dealing with the idiosyncratic staff and shoppers.
