Unreal Tournament 3 is the sequel to Unreal Tournament 2004. The game features much of the popular gameplay from UT2004. This includes fast action in various play modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deatchmatch, Capture the Flag and the new Warfare mode.

As with UT2004, his vehicles were also very important in this part of the Unreal Tournament series. A number of new vehicles have been added and each player has a hoverboard. This floating skateboard allows players to move a lot faster than if they were on foot. However, the hoverboard has the disadvantage that the player cannot use weapons while hovering.

A big change from previous Unreal Tournament installments is that the game features a more extensive single player campaign. The game has a complete storyline for the first time. On the basis of this storyline you play all modes from the multiplayer against computer-controlled opponents. This mode is perfect for learning the game. The campaign can also be played with two people via the internet.
