World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions puts you in a story-driven poker world, where you play as a new poker pro under the care of Chris Ferguson. He teaches you the tricks of the trade when you take on this game against many professionals in Circuit Events. Here you must qualify for the Tournament of Champions at the Rio Resort in Las Vegas. If you make it to the Tournament of Champions you will compete against many poker professionals including Joseph Hachem, the 2006 World Series of Poker winner.

In this poker game you can unlock all kinds of resources. For example, it is possible to view the odds you have with a certain hand and you can view all kinds of statistics of the way your opponent is playing. The number of opponents has increased significantly, there are now 25, while there were only 12 in the previous game. These poker players include a number of well-known professionals including Joseph Hachem, Phil Laak and Jennifer Tilly. In addition, the entire tournament will be provided with commentary by Norman Chad and Lon McEachern.
