Evie (Avery Arendes) is an adventurous young girl who looks after her sickly father and holds a deep love of horses. When she mounts a black stallion intending to return him to the stables the horse instead races off into the woods and suddenly Evie find herself transported to the magical world of Albion. There she finds a similarly adventurous young woman named Eriu (Landon) who explains the struggle going on in the realm of Albion between Eriu's people and those who would oppress them.
