Kaikki 12 jaksoa uudistetun scifi-seikkailudraaman kymmenenneltä tuotantokaudelta, jossa Peter Capaldi palaa legendaarisen Time Lordin rooliin. Tällä kertaa Tohtori ja Nardole (Matt Lucas) ovat asettuneet yliopistoon vartioimaan salaperäistä holvia. Siellä he tapaavat opiskelija Bill Pottsin (Pearl Mackie), josta tulee Tohtorin uusi matkakumppani. Yhdessä kaksikko matkustaa ajassa TARDIS-aluksella ja kohtaa vihollisia, kuten emojibotteja, vuokraisännän (David Suchet), Missyn (Michelle Gomez) ja kybermiehet. Jaksot ovat: 'The Pilot', 'Smile', 'Thin Ice', 'Knock Knock', 'Oxygen', 'Extremis', 'The Pyramid at the End of the World', 'The Lie of the Land', 'Empress of Mars', 'The Eaters of Light', 'World Enough and Time' ja 'The Doctor Falls'. Mukana on myös vuoden 2016 jouluerikoisjakso 'The Return of Doctor Mysterio'.
