Second collection of animated films from the prehistoric 'Land Before Time' series. In 'The Land Before Time V - The Mysterious Island' (1997) Littlefoot (voice of Brandon La Croix), Cera (Anndi McAfee), Spike (Rob Paulsen), Ducky (Aria Curzon) and Petrie (Jeff Bennett) ignore the advice of their elders and set off in search of food. Instead they discover an island of great beauty and mystery that lies beyond the Great Valley. In 'The Land Before Time VI - The Secret of Saurus Rock' (1998) beyond the Great Valley lies the mysterious Saurus Rock, which legend claims keeps away bad luck. When three baby dinosaurs run away to investigate, it is up to Littlefoot (Thomas Dekker), Cera, Spike, Ducky and Petrie to bring them back. In 'The Land Before Time VII - The Stone of Cold Fire' (2000) Littlefoot sees an amazing sight, a blue meteor that falls from the sky and lands in the mountains. But when he tells his friends about it, none of them will believe him. In 'The Land Before Time VIII - The Big Freeze' (2001) the entire group of dinosaurs are trapped in the valley by a snowstorm. A group of them decide that since they need to eat more than the others they will leave the valley. One of the dinosaurs who leaves is Spike and so Littlefoot and his friends have several adventures trying to get Spike and his family to return to the valley.
