Wild Folk People is a heartwarming, rebellious and deeply human collection of stories about the extraordinary characters who’ve inspired the songs of folk singer Beans on Toast. From Brazilian artists to Yorkshire publicans, land rights activists, family legends and fellow folk singers, this is a celebration of people he has met on his path. Each chapter paints a vivid portrait of someone who lives life on their own terms, complete with the lyrics they sparked. Honest, funny and full of soul, this is a book about connection, creativity and the beautiful mess of being alive.
