All 30 episodes of the post-apocalyptic anime series set in a future where humans live in domed cities and snow-covered wastelands abound. Wolves, unseen for some 200 years, are thought to be extinct. In fact, they still exist, living on the scraps of city life, adopting an illusionary human form to disguise their true nature. When a lone white wolf named Kiba proudly wanders into a dreary, run-down town, he immediately attracts the attention of other wolves. With his talk of searching for a legendary paradise, Kiba soon ignites a wanderlust in the others, who decide to join him on his quest. The journey ahead brings many dangers for the wolves, as they battle against the humans who stand in the way of their goal, a goal which they don't even know exists.
