WELCOME TO ÄNGLAGÅRD! A manor-like building located in a small village in western Sweden. Here, everyone knows each other, and no one wants to know about newfangled things. In a cloud of dust, with the rumble of a motorcycle, Fanny appears with Zac, dressed in black leather and welding goggles. As if by magic, the small idyll is transformed into something no one thought possible. Loyal neighbors are no longer so loyal. Opinions begin to be questioned, and in the sunny Swedish high summer, the people around Änglagård have something new and exciting to talk about.

Another transformative summer begins when Fanny and Zac return to Änglagård. The conflicts and double standards are there - just as clear as last year. And in the midst of all this, it turns out that Gottfrid and Ivar have another brother, Sven, who moved to America as a child. There has never been any talk of looking him up. He lives in America, after all - and Gottfrid and Ivar haven't even been to Gothenburg. But they can't resist Fanny's powers of persuasion, and suddenly they find themselves in New York.

A lot happens in a community in fifteen years. People fall in love, get married, have children, get divorced. Some move, someone dies - in Yxared just like everywhere else.
Fanny, Zac, and their daughter Alice travel back to the small community in Västergötland. It is Alice who makes them return - where does she come from, what are her roots? The question of who Fanny's father really is becomes relevant again. And Alice, who is her father?
