New improved construction –less plastic
All the new models from Brother are built with the same strong metal construction. This means that plastic consumption has been reduced by as much as 46% on the new FS60x. This is done in order to strengthen the construction, so you get a more stable and powerful machine. To be exact, the new structure means that Brother guarantees perfect stitching through up to 9 layers of fabric (9 mm).

In addition to the obvious advantage of the machine's new construction you get a larger work surface with the new FS60x. The work surface expands from 14.6 cm to 15.8 cm. (the distance from the needle bar to the edge of the right inside of the machine).
