Lupe Victoria Yolí Raymond (23 de diciembre de 1936 - 29 de febrero de 1992), más conocida como La Lupe, fue una cantante cubana de boleros, guarachas y soul latino, conocida por sus actuaciones enérgicas, a veces controvertidas. “La Lupe ls Back” de 1961 fue su segundo LP en el que se adelantó a su brillante debut “Con el diablo en el cuerpo” (Disco Shellac SHELLO11), incorporando varios éxitos del pop y rock´n´roll de la época para su repertorio, como ´Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow´ escrita por Carole King/Jerry Goffin, que fue un gran éxito para The Shirelles o ´Lipstick On Your Collar´, que llegó a las listas R&R con la voz de Connie Francis, entre otros, todo hecho al estilo único de Lupe y adaptado al español.
