Mamoru Hosoda directs this feature-length Japanese anime featuring the voice talents of Haru Kuroki, Moka Kamishiraishi and Gen Hoshino. After the birth of his sister Mirai (Kuroki), four-year-old Kun (Kamishiraishi) is initially excited about the addition in his life but quickly grows resentful as he feels neglected by his parents. When Kun begins exploring a mysterious garden behind his house, he discovers a portal that allows him to travel into the future as well as the past.
