Indigo Irvine loves her amazing, artistic mum. She fills their lives with joy and colour with her beautiful paintings and wonderful stories. Some days are harder than others, like when the heating runs out or when mum just can’t seem to get out of bed. They get through them together with kitchen dance parties, slurpy noodles and a whole lot of painting. But when the going gets tough can Indi and her mum still find a way to celebrate the good times?A beautifully illustrated, poignant story about the power of painting and the unbreakable bond between mother and child, proving that imagination, love and a little bit of colour can get us through the toughest of times.
