Sebastian is back from the dead. Alone among a crew of four, he has returned from reporting on the outbreak of a mysterious disease on an island off the coast of West Africa. But back home, trouble keeps coming: the diseases has no survivors; how is it he's survived? Where are his colleagues? Are they dead or alive or somewhere in between? And who is Khai Manni? The Undrowned is a novel of ghosts, contagion, conspiracy, and the search for answers in a world that's spinning into disarray as the flood waters rise.
